Gardner Celebrates as a Gigabit City Powered by KWIKOM!

Blog, Connecting Communities, Fiber

Hey Gardner! 🎉 We’ve got some exciting news to share with you. This week, we celebrated Gardner’s official designation as a “Gigabit City Powered by KWIKOM” with a fantastic Ribbon Cutting and Q&A event. This milestone marks Gardner’s leap into the future of connectivity with KWIKOM’s top-notch fiber-optic internet.

So, what does this mean for you? Let’s break it down and recap:

High-Speed Internet for All

With KWIKOM’s fiber network now fully operational in Gardner, you can enjoy blazing-fast internet speeds of up to 10 Gbps! That’s right – whether you’re streaming your favorite shows, video conferencing, gaming, or working from home, you’re all set for a seamless experience.

Introducing Our New 5 Gig Elite Connection Plan

We’re also thrilled to announce our new 5 Gig Elite Connection residential fiber plan! This plan offers even more speed and reliability, making it perfect for larger households or anyone with high-demand internet needs. It’s just one more way we’re working to keep Gardner connected with the best technology available.

A Boost for the Community

Our new fiber infrastructure doesn’t just bring faster internet. It’s also set to enhance public services like emergency response and traffic management. Plus, it’s great news for property values and local businesses, bringing in new opportunities and boosting the local economy.

A Community Celebration

The event was a great success! Gardner’s Mayor Todd Winters, along with our friends from the Gardner Chamber of Commerce and the Kansas Office of Broadband Development, joined us for the Ribbon Cutting ceremony. It was wonderful to see so many of you there, sharing in this big moment for our community.

Mike Brigman, President & COO of WANRack (our parent company), put it perfectly: “High-speed connectivity is no longer a luxury but a necessity.” We couldn’t agree more, and we’re thrilled to be part of Gardner’s journey to becoming a tech-savvy, connected community.

Members of KWIKOM Communications, Gardner City Officials, and the Kansas Office of Broadband Development cut the ceremonial ribbon, welcoming KWIKOM’s fiber internet to the Gardner community.
