Help During Uncertain Times – Service Disconnections and Late Fees

In times like these, it’s important we come together. Earlier this week KwiKom suspended late fees and service disconnections through May 15th for anyone experiencing financial difficulty as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition KwiKom is among other companies that took the “Keep Americans Connected Pledge” launched by FCC Chairman Ajit Pai.

Please contact our billing department at 1 (800) 379-7292 and pay what you can. We will continue looking for ways to help as we work through this together.

Please Note: Although there will be no service disconnections in the coming weeks, you will continue to receive statements and payment reminders. We also encourage you to make payments on your account to help avoid a higher balance later.

Keep Americans Connected Pledge

Given the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on American society, KwiKom Communications pledges for the next 60 days to: 

  1. not terminate service to any residential or small business customers because of their inability to pay their bills due to the disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic; waive any late fees that any residential or small business customers incur because
  2. of their economic circumstances related to the coronavirus pandemic; and 
  3. open its Wi-Fi hotspots to any American who needs them.

Emergency Response Internet Offer For Families With K-12 Students

During this time of uncertainty and required in-home learning, KwiKom is helping get families in need connected to the Internet.

Effective Thursday, March 19, we are for a limited-time offering families with K-12 students signing up for new Internet Service:

  • Free installation of Internet service.
  • Discounted $35/month Basic Internet Service plan for two months.
  • Month-to-Month service with no contract, or long-term agreement.
  • Wireless In-Home Router included at no additional cost.
  • Support and Equipment Protection included at no additional cost.
  • Unlimited data usage.
  • Add Unlimited Calling Home Phone for an additional $20/month.

To qualify for Discounted Internet Service families must have at least 1 student enrolled in school grades K-12 and provide proof from the school of their active enrollment.

Offer expires May 1st 2020 and is available to new Internet customers. After a two-month discount period service will be automatically billed at the standard rate. Discounted monthly access rate does not apply to any other Internet service plans. All KwiKom Internet access plans offer unlimited data usage. KwiKom Communications is planning on being here to help customers stay connected through the COVID-19 pandemic. We recognize staying in touch with your family, friends, school and work has never been more important. In order to meet our customers’ needs we stand ready, willing and able to ensure traffic flows smoothly across our network. To protect our customers and staff we are implementing precautionary and proactive approaches to help protect against the rising concern and spread of COVID-19 Virus.

 

  1. Schedulers will ask if anyone is sick at your location and offer to reschedule if someone is. If anyone at your location is sick please  call our office at 800-379-7292 to postpone / reschedule your new install or service call, even if it is the same day.
  2. We are suspending our same-day reschedule fee for any new install or service call due to someone being sick, although our No Call/No Show fee will still apply.
  3. If our field technicians feel any potential medical threat when on-site they may reschedule the installation or service call, at no charge to the customer, for their personal safety.
  4. All field technicians will carry hand sanitizer on their person or in their vehicle.
  5. We ask customers to respect a space of at minimum 3 feet, or more ,of social distancing from our staff when on-site.
  6. If the customer desires our field technicians to wear gloves or boot/shoe covers while on-site, please ask.
  7. Any KwiKom staff that becomes sick will be sent home for the safety of our customers and other staff.
  8. Our offices will not be open to the public until further notice, and cash payments will not be accepted at this time.
