If I switch to KwiKom, can I keep my current phone number?
Yes, in most instances, Local Number Portability (LNP) allows a customer to change local exchange carriers and keep their current phone number, even though they are now serviced by a different provider.
Will my house have to be re-wired?
Probably not. You may need a re-wiring if you want an outlet in a place that isn’t pre-wired or if there’s a problem with the pre-wiring, but that’s unlikely.
Will I have to buy a special phone to use KwiKom Phone service?
Your current phone should continue to work with us, because we use the same type of switching equipment and software as other phone service providers.

What’s the final phone service price?
The final phone service price on your bill will reflect three groups: your phone service plan price, monthly state and federal fees, and any state/local taxes. The advertised rate includes monthly recurring service fees but excludes directory assistance, operator-assisted calls, and international calling not included in the calling plan.
What if the power goes out? Will I still have phone service?
Unfortunately, the analog-telephone-adapter (ATA) and Internet equipment uses household electrical power to operate. Therefore, telephone service, including access to e911 service, will not be available during a power outage without a battery backup. You may purchase a battery backup from KwiKom for an additional cost.
What equipment will I need?
Since KwiKom Phone service provides high quality voice connection to residential customers in KwiKom’s service area, an analog-telephone-adapter (ATA) is required. An ATA will be provided to you at no additional cost for the duration of your phone service subscription. Upon disconnection of phone service, the ATA must be returned within 30 days or an unreturned equipment charge will apply. Upon disconnecting, you will be given instruction on how to return your ATA in the allotted timeframe.
